Hoop Sort

Hoop Sort is the Android hoop-on-peg puzzle published by HIKING BACKPACK LLC. Version 1.0.0 (package com.hoopsort.androidbe) keeps level progress, stars, ring coins, kit stock, and settings on the device. It does not ask for an account, and it does not keep a cloud copy of a run.

On the pegs

• Tap a source peg, then a same-color peg or an empty peg
• Only the top hoop moves
• Matching colors stack; an empty peg can hold a buffer
• A move limit applies; spare moves can earn more stars
• Mixed pegs with no moves left end the run; retry does not cost money
• A wide hoop cannot sit on a smaller hoop
• A clipped hoop stays until a neighboring peg is one full color
• An extra peg, when used, is one spare pole for that run only
• Chapters cover peg lanes, size rings, and clip locks
• A daily ring is seeded on the device date and does not unlock chapters

Kept on the phone

• Undo, Extra peg, and Hint are earned by clearing levels
• Hint highlights a legal peg pair and does not move a hoop for you
• Those kit pieces cannot be bought in version 1.0.0
• Stars, ring coins, and chapter medals stay on the phone
• Medals are display marks, not a purchase
• Sound, haptics, and color-assist rings are local settings
• Day court is the default floor skin; other skins are marked in development
• Clear progress deletes stars, ring coins, kit stock, and settings on this phone

• No account or sign-in
• No cloud backup of progress
• Notifications are optional and off by default
• No location, contacts, SMS, or microphone access
• No advertising and no in-app purchases in version 1.0.0
• A public store URL is listed only when one exists
